What makes a good earth/ground system?
A: 1 2 3 3 - boring but TRUE! 1 continuous galvanized wire clamped
to the galvanized earth pegs. 2 meters (or 6 1/2 ft) long galvanized
earth pegs. 3 earth pegs minimum for a mains powered Energizers. 3
meters (or 10 feet) minimum distance between earth pegs. No rusty
pipes or buried car bodies allowed! RUST ACTS AS AN INSULATOR. |

Where is the best place to locate the earth?
A: Ideally in an area that is permanently damp, with high soil
fertility and always away from dairy sheds.
NOT in the middle of a stream or near a Mains earth system.
